In an effort to address the regional health workforce shortages, SOWEGA-AHEC partners with the following entities: academic institutions, community-based organizations, hospitals, HRSA, Georgia Department of Labor, Georgia Department of Education, State Office of Rural Health, private foundations, community health centers, rural health clinics, health departments, and private practitioners.
