Teachers Advocating and Exploring Careers in Health

Middle, and high school educators are eligible for
TEACH/Summer Educator Academies.
-
Shadow on-site with local practicing health care
professionals to learn what is involved in specific health occupations.

Acquire and learn to use SOWEGA-AHEC curriculum
and support materials.

Work cooperatively in groups and discuss how
to adapt new content knowledge, experience, and materials into
specific educational situations.

Explore topics relating to the shortage of health
care professionals in Georgia.
