he mental health care field requires
talented hearts as well as talented minds. 
Since pain often goes far beyond the physical
body, these health care workers are needed to
assist an individual in total recovery.  Their
responsibilities include mental health
promotion, as well as the identification,
treatment and rehabilitation of persons with
psychological disorders.  Many times, the
mental health care team intervenes to help
victims of abuse, family strife, and behavioral
problems.  These professionals often humanize
and personalize the health care process. 
Although extremely challenging and diverse,
these careers offer much satisfaction and

personal reward.
